About Us

About Us

FHC was founded in 2019 by Dr. Steven Johnson, Dr. Carmen Hering, Dr. Daciana Iancu and Amanda Jacobs out of an impulse to renew our collective vision of public health- to prioritize health creation, with the individual human being and human relationships at the center. This vision is fueled and inspired by our work in Anthroposophic, Integrative and Osteopathic Medicine, but our impulse seeks to unite with all those who seek the same goal. Public health and health creation belong to everyone and is not just a medical or health care issue. Our health and resilience is also a reflection of the health of our natural environment, social environment and our individual freedom to choose and pursue our own paths to health.

In order to make this work socially relevant and culturally diverse, we invite practical and inspirational ideas from all walks of life! Health means Wholeness, and we at FHC believe that every human being is deeply connected to the world through relationships. Understanding and honoring these relationships is our collective responsibility. Holistic and Integrative Medicine seeks to understand and explore these relationships through scientific knowledge and research, bridging science with spirit and sacredness. We feel this is a key foundation for resilience of the body, mind and spirit. We also believe that health creation starts in childhood and continues to the end of life. We encompass all phases of life in our work and vision.

We have created a quarterly newsletter and educational website that will help you on you individual and community path to health creation. We are actively partnering with other innovators in this field and offer educational programs and events to foster these goals. Please enjoy our newsletter, archives and ongoing events. We are just beginning our work and need your support to grow and make a difference. Come join our organization and invite a friend! It is free and everyone who takes part makes a difference. Let’s create a healthier world together!

The healthy social life is found

When in the mirror of each human soul

The whole community finds its reflection,

And when in the community

The virtue of each one is living.
