Branko Furst, MD, FFARCSI is a professor emeritus of Anesthesiology at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. He obtained his medical degree from University of Ljubljana Medical School, Slovenia and completed postgraduate training in anesthesiology in the UK. The pursuit of an academic career brought him to the US where he served as educator and clinical anesthesiologist at various academic institutions. His research interests include the cardiovascular system, nature of consciousness, history of medicine and building bridges between conventional and anthroposophic medicine. He has lectured on anthroposophic themes and aspects of circulation to professional and lay audiences in the US and internationally.
